Microsoft 365: Home

All Acsenda students have a Microsoft 365 account through the school. This account gives you access to the full versions of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Access, Teams, Skype and more. You can access the apps either online or download them to a device.

Access is given to all active students. Taking a term break will not affect your access but a longer absence and/or withdrawal from the school will. If this should happen access will be restored when you are an active student again. 

Graduating students will retain access for 1 year from their graduation date.

When you have registered for your first term, you will be able to sign up for you account, by following the steps below.

If you need any help with this, please email Student IT Workers. 

1. Go to aka.ms/office-install.
2. To sign in, your username will be your StudentNumber@myasm.ca, NOT your student email, and the password is the same as your MyASM password..
3. If prompted during login, choose “work/school account”.
4. Download the Microsoft Authenticator app and follow the instructions to set up MFA for your account. This app can be found in Apple and Play stores.
5. On the “Apps & devices” page, click on the orange “Install Office” button to start the download. If you want Skype as well that is a separate install from the Office apps.
6. Open the “OfficeSetup.exe” file they just downloaded.
